Hi, I’m Trina, born and raised in Hastings, New Zealand. I moved to Wellington at 18 to attend University and pursue a career in IT Project Management. Life was pretty happy with loving friends and family, a husband and our cats.
However, my marriage fell apart, which led me to reevaluate my priorities and seek a fresh start. I had always found solace and inspiration in the great outdoors and had recently fallen in love with mountain biking. Determined to explore new horizons, I embarked on a solo roadtrip with my trusty mountain bike across Great Britain, Croatia and France. This trip really taught me the value of perseverance, resilience, and self-reliance. It also fostered a sense of self and freedom I had never experienced before. I think I was always constrained by what others thought of me or what society expected of me. Fuelled by this new desire for personal growth and adventure, I decided to move to Northern Ireland, ready to embrace the unknown.
Shortly after settling in Northern Ireland, Covid hit. Stuck inside for roughly 2 years, unable to return to New Zealand even through a family bereavement was tough. I put on a bunch of weight and used covid as an excuse to revert into my insecurities and got to the point where I would barely leave the house for fear of being seen. It got to the point where enough was enough and I wanted to live again. I signed up for a Life Coaching introduction course and it rocked me to the core. I realised I was in no way self aware, my emotions were running the show and I was constrained by limiting beliefs and fear (Not sure what limiting beliefs are? Learn more here). I started exercising again, I started eating better and starting socialising again. I rediscovered the sense of self and freedom from after my marriage, but deeper – I felt like I wouldn’t lose it again. I finally understood the core of who I am and had finally accepted myself.
As fate would have it, my journey has led me to find true love. A transformative relationship marked by adventure, open communication and mutual respect, where I’ve discovered my true self-worth and belief. Together with my partner, we’ve created a haven of deep love, trust, adventure, fun and pure joy.
Determined to help others find their sense of self, discard their limiting beliefs and live true authentic lives, I became a certified Life Coach and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner. Through my empathetic nature and profound understanding of human behaviour, I’m now empowering others to unlock their full potential, guiding them towards self-discovery, resilience, and fulfilment.
My story serves as a reminder that setbacks can be transformed into stepping stones towards awesomeness. Through my coaching program, I share my wisdom, experiences, and expertise, empowering my clients to rewrite their own stories and embrace the limitless possibilities that life has to offer, leading them towards a path of self-discovery and personal triumph.
